Hatch, hunt, devour, grow!

First hatching from an egg surrounded by rocks and lizards, you will traverse a procedurally generated world fills with larger and larger threats and meals.

The concept of a baby dragon hunting, eating & growing to become an enormous monster was first concocted for Global Game Jam 2019, but didn't get too far. I loved the idea, so I began this project as an opportunity to further enhance my skills and experiment with mobile.

One-touch control makes hunting simple: just tap the ground to walk there, or on an enemy to chase it, breathing fire as you approach and biting it when you get close. 

Animals react to you, hunting you if you are small enough for them to eat or fleeing if you are great enough to eat them. 

Although the game is largely visually simple, I took care to make the dragon's movement feel organic, and coded visually-appealing serpentine motion.
